Openning The Pool Cover
The electric pool cover must be fully openned before the pool is used.
There is a key to operate the pool cover which is kept on the wall by the key shelf in the corner of the dining room. To open the pool cover, turn the key to the left as shown in the first video.
Cleaning Out Odd Leaves
After openning the pool cover, you should quickly scoop out any remaining leaves or other debris that has still managed to get into the pool. There are both a short and long pool nets, kept beside the pool which can be used for that.
Note the long pool net has an edge that can also be used to collect any debris off the pool floor.

Closing The Pool Cover
To close the pool cover, you will need the pool cover key again.
Before operating the pool cover, unclip the straps that should be securing the lip of the pool cover which goes over the steps.
Then turn the key to the right to start the cover openning over the water. Stop when the lip hits the water. Make sure the lip is bending towards the steps. It may need manually pushing forward to do that.
Then hold the key to the right until the pool cover has completely covered the water, the last bit is when the back lowers onto the water unter the cover spool.
